1. Business-to-Business Sales

Quality Chains operates as a B2B manufacturer and supplier. Our products and manufacturing services are intended for jewellery retailers, wholesalers, distributors, manufacturers and other business customers.

We do not operate as a consumer retail jewellery store, and submitting an inquiry through our website does not constitute an order or purchase.

2. Product Information

Quality Chains manufactures gold chains and chain-based products in various styles, sizes, karats, colours, lengths, constructions and finishes.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications and other information displayed on our website are accurate. However, images are provided for reference and presentation purposes. Appearance may vary depending on gold colour, karat, finish, dimensions, lighting, photography and manufacturing specifications.

Product availability and manufacturing options may change without notice.

3. Requesting a Quote

Customers may request a quote through our website, by telephone, email or directly through our team.

Customers should provide sufficient information for us to assess their requirements, which may include:

• chain style and size;
• gold karat;
• gold colour;
• length;
• approximate quantity or weight;
• solid or hollow construction, where applicable;
• finishing requirements;
• clasp requirements;
• private-label requirements; and
• whether the customer will supply their own gold.

Submitting a Request a Quote form is an inquiry only. It does not create a purchase agreement, guarantee production availability, reserve manufacturing capacity or require either party to proceed with an order.

Our team will review the information provided and may contact the customer for additional specifications before providing a quote.

4. Quotes and Pricing

Pricing is determined based on the specifications and requirements of each order.

Depending on the order, pricing may take into account factors such as gold requirements, karat, product specifications, manufacturing labour, finishing, customization and other applicable services.

Manufacturing labour may be quoted on a per-gram basis where applicable.

Gold and precious-metal market prices can fluctuate. Where Quality Chains is responsible for arranging gold for an order, applicable gold pricing and related terms will be communicated as part of the quotation or order confirmation.

A quote applies only to the specifications and conditions stated in that quote. Changes requested by the customer may require revised pricing.

Any applicable taxes, shipping charges or other charges will be identified where applicable.

5. Order Confirmation

An inquiry or quote does not automatically become a manufacturing order.

An order is considered accepted only after the applicable specifications, pricing, gold arrangements, deposit or initial gold requirements, and other relevant order terms have been agreed upon with Quality Chains.

Customers are responsible for reviewing their order specifications carefully before approving production.

Any changes requested after manufacturing has started may not be possible and may result in additional charges.

6. Deposits and Payment

Quality Chains may require a deposit, initial gold allocation or other agreed consideration before manufacturing begins.

Accepted payment methods may include:

• cash;
• Interac e-Transfer; and
• bank deposit or bank transfer.

Payment requirements will be communicated as part of the quotation or order process.

Quality Chains currently does not provide credit terms unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

Orders must be paid according to the payment terms communicated for the applicable order.

7. Customer-Supplied Gold

Quality Chains may manufacture products using gold supplied by the customer.

Customer-supplied gold is subject to purity testing and verification before it is accepted for manufacturing. Testing may be witnessed by the customer in person or, where arranged, through a video call.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information and any available documentation relating to the material supplied.

Quality Chains reserves the right to decline material that is unsuitable for the requested manufacturing process or where its composition, purity, condition or other characteristics create manufacturing concerns.

The amount of finished product that can be manufactured from customer-supplied gold may depend on the material supplied, required karat, manufacturing specifications and normal manufacturing processes.

Any unused or unprocessed customer-supplied gold will be handled according to the arrangements agreed for the applicable order.

8. Gold Testing and Quality Control

Quality Chains performs material testing and quality-control procedures as part of its manufacturing operations.

Our capabilities include XRF purity testing and fire assay, where appropriate. Raw material may be tested before manufacturing, and finished products may undergo additional testing and inspection.

Finished products are inspected for applicable characteristics such as workmanship, links, colour, finish and plating where applicable.

If a manufacturing issue is identified, Quality Chains will assess the product and determine the appropriate corrective action.

9. Custom Manufacturing

Many Quality Chains products are manufactured according to individual customer requirements.

Customization may include, depending on the product:

• karat;
• gold colour;
• width;
• length;
• weight;
• solid or hollow construction;
• finish;
• clasp selection; and
• private-label marking or engraving.

The availability of a particular customization depends on the chain style, manufacturing requirements and equipment capabilities.

Customers are responsible for approving their specifications before production begins.

10. Manufacturing Times

Manufacturing timelines vary depending on the product, order size, specifications, customization requirements, material availability and current production schedule.

Any estimated completion or delivery date communicated by Quality Chains is an estimate unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing.

Customers with a specific required date should communicate that requirement before approving an order so that our team can determine whether the requested timeline can be accommodated.

11. Product Weights

Any chain weights, weight tables, calculators, charts or reference sheets displayed on our website or provided to customers are intended as general planning references unless expressly stated otherwise.

Actual finished weight may vary depending on manufacturing specifications, length, karat, clasp selection, finish and customization requirements.

The specifications agreed for the individual manufacturing order will govern the order.

12. Cancellations and Changes

Because our products are manufactured according to customer requirements, cancellation rights are limited once manufacturing has begun.

Customers are responsible for accepting and paying for any quantity that has already been manufactured before a cancellation or change request is received.

If part of the order has not yet entered production, Quality Chains will review whether the remaining portion can be changed or cancelled.

Where customer-supplied gold has not yet been processed, arrangements may be made for the return of the unprocessed material, subject to the circumstances of the order.

Any request to modify or cancel an order should be communicated to Quality Chains as soon as possible.

13. Returns and Exchanges

Quality Chains products are manufactured for B2B customers according to specified requirements. Therefore, custom-manufactured products are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange due to a change of mind.

If you believe there is a manufacturing defect or that the finished product materially differs from the agreed specifications, contact Quality Chains promptly with details of the issue.

Our team will inspect or assess the product and determine the appropriate resolution based on the circumstances.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

14. Shipping and Pickup

Orders may be collected from our Mississauga, Ontario facility or shipped where arrangements have been made.

Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed.

Where shipping is requested, Quality Chains may arrange an insured courier appropriate for the shipment. Shipping costs and arrangements will be communicated to the customer.

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information.

International customers, including customers in the United States, are responsible for any applicable import requirements, taxes, duties, brokerage charges or other governmental charges associated with receiving their shipment unless otherwise expressly agreed.

15. Facility Visits

Quality Chains operates a manufacturing facility in Mississauga, Ontario.

Business customers may visit the facility by appointment. Please contact our team in advance to arrange a meeting, discuss manufacturing requirements or review samples.

16. Private Labelling

Private-label marking may be available for qualifying manufacturing orders.

Customers requesting a company name, initials, logo, trademark or other identifying mark confirm that they have the legal right and authorization to use that material.

Quality Chains is not responsible for disputes resulting from customer-provided trademarks, logos or other intellectual property.

17. Website Content

All content on the Quality Chains website, including text, photographs, videos, graphics, logos, product presentations and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Quality Chains unless otherwise stated.

Website content may not be reproduced, distributed, modified or used for commercial purposes without prior authorization from Quality Chains, except where permitted by applicable law.

18. Website Availability

We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate and accessible website information. However, we do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available.

Quality Chains may update, modify or remove website content, product information or functionality without notice.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Quality Chains will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable law.

20. Events Beyond Our Control

Quality Chains will not be responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations caused by circumstances reasonably beyond our control, including transportation disruptions, equipment failures, power outages, labour disruptions, material shortages, governmental actions, natural disasters or other events that materially affect manufacturing or delivery.

If such an event affects an order, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the affected customer.

21. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada.

Any dispute relating to these Terms or a transaction with Quality Chains will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

22. Changes to These Terms

Quality Chains may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website, manufacturing processes or legal requirements.
